Shadowrun was also heavily underrated.

halo 2 also amazing, but that was freshman year of college :) we used to hook it up in 2 different dorm rooms

I never stopped playing Halo since those days bro! Been taking a break from Infinite and playing Fortnite now though, having more fun lol.

Gears of war 1 was my favorite.

But also Gears of war 2. Halo 1 y 2.

There's no topping this imo.  There was a window where the meta was local networks (hs, college, etc.) before Live.  The stakes were much higher because you knew who you were playing against, and who the top tier folks were locally.  Peak gaming for me.

Have never been in a lan party sadly 😭 but I remember playing wc3 in a computer cafe with my brother and his friends when I was a baby.
