what's your favorite analytics tool?

i've used amplitude and mixpanel in the past, but don't really love either of them.

need something more granular than google analytics-like providrs, for session tracking, and event tracking

Check out heap. I don’t remember how granular you can get, but it’s pretty good and it’s a whole lot simpler than GA & others.

Posthog because it's open-source & costs are less exponential compared to Amplitude, especially with a lot of DAU! Posthog also filters out bots by default, which on Amplitude you have to manually do (e.g. 1 IP can represent 10K DAU on Amplitude forcing you to manually filter, unless they updated it recently)
