@manansh what do you think? to me a more apparent way to ascertain spiritual maturity is a 2x2 based on 1) unconditional thriving and 2) expressions of metta / loving kindness / goodwill i was also trying to come up with the least judgmental labels π i think you'll get what i'm going for and why...

with these 2 you can observe a person based on the way they act, rather than having to trust anything they are saying or their self-assessment a tibetan buddhist guideline is observing a spiritual teacher for 10 years before accepting them as your guru and i agree with this timeline requirement as a minimum

also there's nothing wrong with being a "summit" type at least per theravadan buddhist practice, that's just called being a paccekabuddha https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pratyekabuddhay%C4%81na they tend to do their own thing tho and don't teach the spiritual path
