Anyone consider buying a Rivian worried about bankruptcy risk given dependency on software updates?

Tbh, leasing might be the safest bet right now! If things go south, you're only risking your down payment, without the hassle of worrying about resale value. Did a deep dive into this when looking for our second car. Ended up with a Tesla Model Y, as there were no Rivian leases available in Connecticut.

How does the math for car leasing work out? I’ve only bought a car with cash and I’m curious if leasing is better approach for next time.

The best deal ever is on swap/lease take over! Previous lessees offer their down payment most of the time😃 Then you can get super good deal if you credit score is good or if the car is from inventory (eg. Lucid has impressive deals from 2023 cars) Happy to dc for more details :-) what car are you interested in?
