Getting annoyed at other people's entitlements has caused me to reflect on my own entitlements. You are not entitled to a single thing in this life. Not health nor wealth nor happiness. I think a lot of unhappiness is downstream of the mistaken belief that you deserve something you aren't getting

I feel like this is one of those things similar to what @cameron had said in our last /okbanger show... (if your reaction to "you don't need to reflect" is "hell yeah" you should probably reflect more, and if you disagree then you should reflect less) similarly here, if you think you are entitled then you probably should be questioning that, and if you think you don't deserve it then you probably do? I like the phrasing in point 8. in this feminist economy framework https://warpcast.com/christin/0xb31f412d

That meritocracy one feels like it came from the Gita - don’t be concerned with the fruits of your action but of the action itself. Ie don’t do things for the reward but because you must do them

it's sort of funny to think we are always on the wrong side of reflection, either too much or too little
