Trade? You don't trade crypto. 
You just keep buying indefinitely, forever. That way you will never get hurt. 😂

does this mean you avoid meme coins and stick with $BTC, $ETH? Or just buy and hold everything?

Speaking more seriously, long-term investments make sense, even if memecoins typically don't. Personally, I sell my initial investment and let the leftovers sit. With another bull run yet to start, selling now might be something we regret later. When it begins, even the most unlikely assets could see a surge. I believe that anything fundamentally sound will increase in value from today's prices.
And I do think degen can go insanely high too.
