😮‍💨 what a masculine approach this is sometimes a good motivational tool (pls click thru to read the whole thread bc cam does explain the nuance) but we all need plenty of tools in the motivational toolbox 🧰 alternative: recalling past successes provides a source of Power esp for those of us who have been historically disempowered there’s no need to stop being a little bitch if we recall that we are not that in the first place, that’s a cognitive illusion

Had a conversation with Cameron about this and told him my motivational tool, I just look in the mirror and say my daily affirmations but I think the “stop being a little bitch” way works for men mostly. I could never understand why but hey, it works.

Many of us delude ourselves into thinking and believing all sorts of nonsense. It seems that the more we know our own selves and our strengths and limitations, the easier it is to recognize if we’re stretching our limitations and what motivates us to leave our comfort zones. When you don’t even know yourself though, that’s when it gets dangerous and it’s too easy to unduly compare your action/inaction/abilities to someone else’s. I like your suggestion about recalling past successes. Refocus on the self and not a distortion as a means of negative encouragement.

To be honest I feel the best form of motivation is hurt Either maybe someone says something terrible to you or you experience something It creates this unlimited energy to just lock in and get at it

But at times it’s needed to remind ourselves that we aren’t realizing our full potential and are limiting ourselves, isn’t it?

When surrounded by a lot of masculine energy, “stop being a little bitch” becomes one of the best motivations one has ever seen So really, there are two sides to the coin as you’ve clearly stated

Recalling past /success stories is kind of what the /success channel is all about! If you're ever looking for a bit of extra motivation, people frequently share their achievements and things they've overcome in the channel. In fact, today we're highlighting a huge achievement by @angelikakollin! :)

I actually love how Armstrong cleared the air regarding what he truly meant about “stop being a little bitch”, as to how it could promote toxicity and ignoring of emotions I bet you and Armstrong go along greatly, cos Armstrong is too intellectual to get into an argument😂, and you definitely are also as smart
