Trade? You don't trade crypto. You just keep buying indefinitely, forever. That way you will never get hurt. 😂

I'm not very good at trading, so I don't trade often. Personally, I believe that everything in cryptocurrency trading is retrospective. Therefore, I don't think there's anything specific that leads to success or failure. I just think I succeeded because the market went up at that time and failed because it went down.

The longer I've been in crypto the less I actively trade in/out. As over the long haul I know most major assets gravitate up and to the right. Last "good" trade was in 2023 realizing that we were quite irrationally sold off in november and entering the markets in size then. Last "bad" trade was selling BTC for ETH mid 2023 (when btc still had a lot of legs left).

i started my journey with btc and eth buying in late 2022, DCAing whenever i could after investing heavily in the stock market. i wasn't sure how the crypto market would move, so it was an avoiding FOMO strategy. i began learning about crypto, meme coins, and nfts, and it all enlightened me last summer as the market was reawakening. my first good trade was buying and holding, and discovering Base’s ecosystem by buying my first meme coin, “Brett.” my bad trade was buying too many other meme coins with an "it's okay to lose money" mindset. it’s never okay to lose money if you’ve earned it the hard way.

love this question... my last good trade was $MOTHER on Solana mindset was I noticed Iggy Azalea was shitposting and hanging out on Twitter Spaces which gave me the impression she wanted to build a genuine community around her meme coin I bought because I wanted to support her and made profit as a side effect

I think long term holding of BTC and ETH is generally a very good strategy, of course depending about your point of entrance in crypto. I don't remember last time I sold any of the coins, maybe once or twice during a year but I guess I was lucky (or enough educated?) to have mostly good trades in the last few years, one of the best being buying SOL at $16 (and still not selling any of it, regretting not buying tons more at that time). There were also some bad trades like buying ADA and DOT which I'm still holding but with negative balance...

I was just talking with my husband about this and I've realized that my best decisions in crypto have been based purely on fun/vibes. The moment I start overthinking how to do it better is when I start losing 😅

Hey there! My last good trade was driven by thorough research and calculated risk management, leading to timely entry/exit points. My last bad trade, however, stemmed from emotional impulsiveness and FOMO, making me realize the value of sticking to a strategy and staying patient. What about you?

Beyond maintaining exposure to BTC, ETH, and some SOL, I mainly find solace in protocols/projects I believe in (like thorchain and echelon). I maintain a small “nihilism” bag of meme coins, but it’s less than 10% (now: less than 5% lol). First cycle I traded like an idiot, chasing pumps, trying to catch knives, slurping the dipperino that keeps dipping, “rotating”, farming, locking, etc. Now it’s much more of a sense of investing (whilst being mindful to take profits). Last good trade was probably degen in late jan. It’s kind of like… an accumulation of weak signals that synthesise into a thesis. It worked (but admittedly I took profit in tranches; might buy back more but will monitor sentiment and distribution—feeling like HIGHER may be the better beta atm). Last bad trade is probably me holding on to crap for too long. I usually get the intuitive sense I should sell, but don’t because of the inconvenience of where my hww is. So I just watch it go down + sell too late.
