🔴 Display of Power 
By showing control over independent institutions he increases his authority and his image of decisiveness.

🔴 Centralising Economy
Being on a trade war with China, USA's decentralised economy consists a disadvantage for Trump.

🔴 Market Manipulation 
Just a few words can alter prices by billions. Trump knows that and has used it multiple times in the past to his benefit.

End of story: if he comes victorious from his conflict with Powell $TRUMP  may go up, since it's his own coin linked to his personality.
