Hey running guys, I need some advice. I’m not a runner. And recently had bronchitis. Before the bronchitis I was running around 3,5km. Now I cannot run not even 1km without being out of breath. There is a 5,5km run in mid September. Do you think I prepare for it and run? Or is it too tight and I need more time?

Tried to gradually increase distance over time. Make sure your runs are comfortable and yes, you can walk mid-running, it’s totally fine Before register for the race, check cutoff time, calculate the cutoff pace, and try test that pace for 1k then evaluate your effort first!

This idea about the cutoff pace in very good. It makes a lot of sense. Thank you! 💜 25 $degen
