Wanted to do a quick writeup about my experience on Liquidium where you can borrow/lend ordinals 6 loans so far, 3 repaid. One default which will negate all my gains and then some. So long story short, its not free money. in many ways you're stuck w/ the downside while the borrower gets the upside. Risk mgmt is impt.

u and me both.... i think there are enough vested holders who are builders that they are providing 'additional value' by building on top of bitmaps. latest i think is some merlin-chain staking thingie to earn merlin tokens which are tokens for an l2 (supposedly) on btc. looks more like a polygon cdk tho.

i like the warning for listing below floor but now there are still mistakes for rares being listed too low etc. an undo would help with all of these corner cases

an optional “undo” feature ppl can turn on like in gmail so you have a 10 sec grace period to correct any fat finger errors. i see a lot of ppl get rekt by it and never come back because it’s so easy to miscount a zero when listing in btc

the channel msgs don’t seem to be showing me all the messages. missing many that i see on the “all” timeline. is farcaster mostly “best effort” as far as completeness for seeing msgs and timing for when those msgs are seen? (ie mentsl model should be thst you should not expect to see all messages)

what do you like about it? so far everything positive ppl have said is due to the fact that the site isn't popular so the spammers/scammers aren't here yet. frames is kind of cool in that you can mint in-app but i see as ppl getting scammed/rugged offsetting convenience

honestly expected more ordinals ppl to join farcaster. i wonder why traction is not super good on farcaster from this community

imo runes is superior enough a tech and has enough hype that it will be the dominant fungible protocol on btc. i don't see brc20 going away but i also dont see new projects choosing to launch on brc20 over runes

this is awesome! just some feedback for you - i didn't realize how to get to the next inscription (took me 5 mins of clicking around to figure out you have to scroll down) - i see a lot of gltf type not supported msgs. may be worth filtering those until you do support them?

good rule of thumb is to let your winners ride and cut your losers. very counterintuitive since its easy to expect everything to revert to the mean and "have its day in the sun" but mostly it just keeps diverging.

yeah ME is not handling the reveal very well so it’s showing blank white pages rn instead of the image. you’ll likely want to upload off chain images in the json for better displaying
