Maybe I’m jaded, but privacy is an illusion. We live in an increasingly surveilled world. By definition blockchains are public ledgers. Yes, cryptography can help, but I think anonymity isn’t realistic imo

Blockchains are not "by definition" public ledgers. "A blockchain is a distributed ledger with growing lists of records (blocks) that are securely linked together via cryptographic hashes." Also, distributed ledgers are not "by definition" blockchains. Eliminate your preconceptions
