My in-laws just moved into a brand new house

And they’re asking us for a quilt because it’s cold at night 

They have brand new heating and air-conditioning systems. Why are they unwilling to just turn the heat up?

They aren't heating the whole neighborhood!!!

They need a heated mattress pad. That's the game changer 🙌 

60⁰ in the house, toasty AF in the sheets 

I got a dad brain it comes to the house and bills 😂 but I've become more generous. I can't WFH at 62⁰, but I can at 65⁰ 😉

I dont like how drying the forced heat air is esp in Chicago it runs frequently in the winter. If I had radiator or in floor heating, id keep it warmer. 

Then in the summer yeah I keep it anywhere between 74-78 just depends what I feel like.

But I supplement with heated throw blankets on the sofa and in my work chair

Why people torture themselves like this I’ll never understand 

It’s 74 in my house year round, no exceptions
