I agree, we can’t blame some1 right now, but I assume that was a mistake change him for last few minutes he was able to finish this game and it could finish different.
But at the end group was difficult but they could win at least Albania and granted more chances to get through group stage.

Hope modric will get more time in Madrid next year, he’s still can make difference on the pitch

That's literally what cost them. He shouldn't have been substituted and am certain he would have surpress that midfield.
