Listening to the latest balaji podcast made me realize I probably have more in common with everyone on this app than with people in my building or neighborhood or w.e. If you're on farcaster, we most likely agree on more big picture things than we disagree. Cant say the same about the people that live in my building

Seconded! Also which podcast specifically do you mean? From his own podcast or where someone else interviewed him?

We have Farcaster Visas, and it gives us access to partner ecosystems like events. I think this is an online network state.

That’s true. This is the digital nation states concept he often talks about. I felt this way when I moved to Bali as well. I had more in common with the expats there, in terms of values, principles, lifestyle, etc. than I had with many people in my neighborhood, town, and city, back in the U.S.

I haven’t listened to this podcast, but recently I’ve come to realize that I’m facing the same issue myself. It seems to me that this is a problem that needs addressing. What conclusion did you ultimately reach?
