I used to have trouble saving money in my 20s. Something that helped me is to visualize each dollar like a soldier. When you waste $, the soldiers die. Or you can deploy them to battle by investing, and they can capture more soldiers. More soldiers make me happy

I try to find the point of diminishing returns. A while back I wanted a pair of Airpod Max. They're ~$600. I find more happiness by buying some headphones for around $200, and putting the $400 to work. That $400 can turn into more

I have a lot of Crypto / business goals for the next 3 years. I'm sacrificing a ton of travel, video games, and social media outside of CT. It's not forever btw - just for a while. I'm not willing to sacrifice my sleep, exercise, and time spent with certain people

We're naturally wired to chase dopamine and action. It's why newbs love going "all in" in Poker. In Crypto, people use leverage + chase "100x" just to get wrecked. Life's a game of inches. I've learned overtime to go for small, consistent wins - it compounds overtime
