I hope this is a time where FTX can prove they’ve stress tested properly and have enough to cover deposits. tired of the general ‘crypto/defi bad’ news. not negating there are plenty of risky actors but I see this as a chance to allow faith to grow in the industry & increase adoption if it goes right

I consider the industry to be the trustless decentralized parts.
The debatable deposits part here is old stuff we are replacing.

I think he's biased, and creating a framework now serves his interests. My opinion might be unpopular, but I think the longer we kick the can, the better. There is so much experimentation happening and possible that the sooner a framework is created, the more ill-fitting and limiting it will be.

It does give a bit of ‘pull the ladder up behind you’ vibe
