The Fugaku supercomputer is currently the most powerful computer in the world. The Fugaku processor, developed by Fujitsu and Riken, has a data processing speed of 415.5 petaflops, which is equivalent to 415.5 quadrillion operations performed in just 1 second. This incredible speed is achieved by 152,064 specially designed A64FX processors, with a processing power of 2.7 teraflops each. Fugaku is currently used to perform a variety of research tasks, including drug discovery, weather forecasting, modeling biological processes in the body and even simulating the work of the human brain.
