Just random thoughts: 1/ @base is unmatched in user experience compared to any other blockchain. They've introduced Smart Wallet, lowered gas fees weekly, sponsoring gas for users, and created MagicSpend. The base has been snowballing. Most layer-2s that haven't gained critical mass adoption are going to zero. 2/ Blockchains will be the balance sheets for assets and Coprocessor will be the compute layer for all blockchains. In a way, Layer2s are Coprocessors built for specific blockchains they are not apart from general Coprocessors, but layer2s fragment the assets, not Coprocessors. 3/ This is not discussed much but the cost of being a Rollups is 10x lower than being a Layer1, this is one of the main reasons why Rollups/App chain won’t convert to a Layer1 which will eat into their profits.

Azuro became the Biggest Protocol by revenue on Polygon. Azuro protocol is currently adopted by 22 prediction applications, and counting, with hundreds of new end users joining every day. Auzro need to be studied, they became the infra for pred markets without launching there own chain.

Base in particular has emerged as a big winner in the Layer 2 space. Since Mar. 13, Base DAUs tripled, transaction count went up by 500%, and even with the gas target increasing to 5 mgas/s, Base blocks are still getting filled and the EIP1559 fee market kicks in. The chain’s most active category: DeFi.

Reth AlphaNet will be a fundamental building block for every Layer 2's scaling strategy. It also comes with EIP-3074 to improve user UX L2 projects should incentivize devs to tackle complex challenges, rather than merely airdropping tokens.
