Wild charts of the day. Regardless of the income, American life span is significantly shorter than English life span. What is this about? Healthcare policies of course play a role, but it can't be the only thing if this is happening even at high income levels.

A capitalist healthcare system is designed to grow more profits @ every level not improve outcomes.

That's fair. So even at high incomes, the money doesn't go to make you live longer & better, just goes to whatever increases profits (more tests, more time in hospital bed, etc)

+ Our preventative care like all things is slowly minimized and cost cut away. The craziest part is that we pay 40% more than our EU counterparts for worse outcomes. The system is indefensible.
