It’s bringing Dick Cheney into the fold in the context of how little she’s done to do the same for people further on the left. Especially where Gaza is concerned. The gestures don’t have to be grand but they are glaringly absent

Sorry I don't mean to be snarky but Uncommitted is already the most centrist (and smaller) part of the anti-genocide wing, and is heavily criticized by more progressives. And she doesn't give any concession to even them.

Do you know the level of destruction done on Palestinian people? Ceasefire would cut it in November 2023 with a hostage deal (which was what was proposed by Hamas after Israel already killed thousands).

Also these vague ceasefire proposals ignore the systemic issues caused by the US itself on the region.
