In a little over a week the new Builder Protocol contracts should be launched which would allow Purple to move to an OPStack based L2. I'm leaning towards putting up a prop to move us to Base when the contracts are ready. Who has strong feelings that we should choose OP Mainnet or Zora Network?

My vote would be Optimism. - incubated by a public benefit corp - less chance of gov censoring the chain - more tx fee % to public goods Why Base?

Thinking treasury should stay on mainnet for a while to mitigate risk. No strong opinions on which chain. Can envision some convenience being on op as fc contracts are there. That base on-ramp though πŸ˜‹

Please don’t choose Zora. I’ve been on the fence forever on Purple and choosing Zora would be the nail in the coffin, I hate holding Zora ETH so much πŸ˜‚

While NFT activity on base plays in its favour I would lean towards optimism because that’s where the farcaster contracts live and it’s more neutral

I’d pick Optimism. There are benefits to having interoperability between Purple and Fids. Though, that would mostly be true for smart contracts (which could unlock novel uses, but not guaranteed). We’d be closing that door. Base is great and I love what they are doing. But Optimism is the right call.
