I’m really excited to announce that I am moving into my new role as Head of Impact at @octant.   This is quite a funny story if you have a few minutes to read, as it’s really wild to reflect on this crypto journey, starting back in 2015.

I had this eclectic roommate who had hair like sideshow bob from The Simpson. He came home one day extremely upset, because he had just got into a shouting match with an Stanford economics professor in the middle of Stanford’s campus, with the professor ridiculing him how Bitcoin and Ethereum would never amount to anything.  This was the first time I had ever heard about Ethereum, so he began to educate me on the subject and I bought my first ETH at 4.10$.

@josephalessio is a designer and art director from Oakland, CA. His experience working with FAANG and tradfi inspired him to invest in the decentralized future, where he’s a proud member of the non-technical staff @uniswap!

When he’s not designing, he’s probably reading an unnecessarily dense book.

Together we form the Judgement Trinity: Judgy, Judgier, and "Lighten Up, It's a Hackathon."

floguo.twitter is a product designer and design engineer based in Toronto, soon joining vercel.twitter She’s designed brands, led creative direction, and built web and product experiences for projects like Ostium, Infera Network, Valour, and DeFi Technologies. 

Now, she’s focused on bridging design and implementation, turning sharp interfaces into seamless, working products.

Chris Calo is Head of Design at Octant. He's a curious fellow, fully indoctrinated by the Degens & Dragons philosophy. 

Learning his trade via the work-release program, he quickly rose to prominence by inventing a new pantheon of meme gods, thus earning the eternal admiration (and slight bewilderment) of colleagues and parole officers alike.

Ready to do my best Simon Cowell impersonation! And, as my @octant #PFP indicates, since turning into a ghoul I only look half as dead as he. Dope 🙂💀
