Has anyone tried to do test driven dev using an agent where the agent just does a QA to you about each component you request and the result is a product spec that you can then ask the agent to scaffold your design around?

haven't implemented TDD yet, but this sounds a lot like what i've been doing with my Claude to Cursor workflow

Claude and I chat about a product with the intent of a product spec doc, until i feel comfortable we've talked about all the pieces i need, and then the doc gets saved in the project directory, and i prompt Cline/Cursor/etc to refer to the spec and start building

is this what you're talking about? and how are you thinking about extending that to TDD? just prompting the agent to build one of the components, but to start with tests?

I’m going to try it for this next component and see how it goes, it’s been insanely more accurate generating playwright tests than it is with normal component code. I guess we’ll see if that means anything when then feeding it back in as the component spec, or maybe it will just do both at the same time? So many options yet
