There is never a perfect answer to these questions, but allow me to give mine: ETH is a commodity money within the Ethereum economy across all layers and also outside of it (other L1's) - it accrues value based on these monetary properties + being a store of value.

It would be cool to see token launches use proof of humanity for non-linear airdrops/sales. E.g. let people register their address with one of several proof of humanity services, airdrop 10% of supply to first 10k ppl, and also let them buy another 10% of supply for cheap.
