That's a variation of the same point, relying on tech innovation to steer market demand.

We need bold, coordinated action, and in particular we need big oil companies to go broke.

Fair point. But if the only other alternative is “We’ll just technology our way out of this” we’re probably screwed.

We’re ultimately part of the global ecology we’re destroying and cannot exist outside of it.

It's all individual action! Do not bother to look up the emissions of big corporations, you have the power to decide!
