I used to live in Dubai, and wanted out after nearly a decade in the Middle East. My QoL was amazing there, though, so I was looking at a very short list of potential upgrades. Singapore was cosmopolitan, warm, green, safe, had great food, and was a springboard for travel around Asia. Ticked a lot of boxes for me
