[still in awe and not sure how] a few weeks ago, my mom and i made it to everest basecamp in nepal 🏔️🇳🇵 skip to the end for one takeaway 👇 this was her dream and i gave it to her as a birthday gift. we arrived at basecamp on her birthday 💪🏽 she’s strong, bold, a little crazy. i’m so proud of her ❤️ we trained for 2 years and still felt unprepared. 10 days hiking, 7–8 hrs daily. rest. lodging was as good as it gets—but still a bit rough. we wouldn’t have made it without sunil (our guide) and dipraj (our sherpa). the kindest, strongest souls. humbling to watch them conquer the mountain with such ease. so many stories and lessons i’ll carry forever. but here’s the main one: on day one, we wanted to quit. every day got harder. still, we pushed on day after day for 9 more days. we have more to give than we think. incredible things happen when you persevere ✨ hope this inspires you to go beyond—whatever you’re facing, you’ve got this. namaste 🙏🏽

I am incredibly lucky to work with a founder that has this view of the world. so many english-speaking folks, born in the northern/west hemispheres don't think there's talent outside of the bubble. If we can just open our eyes and minds a little bit, there's so many talented folks out there just needing and opportunity. their grit, commitment and perseverance can change the course of your company. this hits especially hard for me as I am: - a woman - 🌈 - multiple mixed races - english is not my first language - from a developing country w/o fancy university degrees - no one to refer me to highly sought roles/companies I had to build this path for myself. And someone had to give me these opportunities throughout my career, just like @wwarren did when I joined @0xproject and @matchaxyz. 🫶 if you are hiring, keep this in mind. if you are looking for a next adventure, we've got plenty of roles here! 0x.org/careers
