Ethereum

Structural inequality and alienation have led to learned helplessness in many builders who believed ethereum was their opportunity to build their way out. Unfortunately, most people don't have the grit to double and triple down on their goals and beliefs when faced with this type of adversity. 

This is one of the areas where Ethereans' virtue signaling is detrimental to ecosystem growth. We keep promising 
 that "this time it's different" but continue implementing the same societal structures that keep outcasting people from historically marginalized groups.

This isn't some woke cry for equality - it's a request to be more realistic about how we communicate our values and a reminder to keep your word.

We need to work on retaining value creators and uplifting them instead  of cherry-picking low roi people and teams based on affinity bias. This is why (I believe) we've created a griftocracy instead of nurturing meritocracy.
