The tragedy of Pedro Albizu Campos. Father of the Puerto Rican independence movement, he was known as “el Maestro.” Campos fought in WWI, was Harvard educated, spoke 6 languages, and was also involved in the struggle for Irish independence. There is evidence that the US exposed him to radiation while imprisoned.
