In elementary, I went to Yucatán, Mexico on a week long vacation. Explored the ruins. Walked up a pyramid. Snorkeled in water filled caves. When we got back the school scolded my mom for me missing so much of my “education”. I remember this trip fondly. I don’t remember much from elementary. Live life. 🥰

I love Mayan art and architecture. I spent several summers in Belize drawing artifacts for an archaeological program and traveling around to different sites.
