We've already burned a lot of energy mining cryptocurrencies. Now that blockchain technology has adjusted to solve this issue, AI comes along, consuming massive amounts of energy and becoming increasingly utilized. The difference is that cryptos weren't in the hands of big techs. The future isn't looking bright 😕

Degrowth - trying to cap the energy use - isn't the solution. Energy is good. It makes good. It provides services. And we have known how to generate clean energy from rocks for a long time now.
