LATEST: AYOWECCA Uganda to receive 5 ETH from Public Nouns for tree planting. On January 12, 2024, AYOWECCA Uganda submitted a proposal on Public Nouns, requesting a grant of 5 ETH to plant fruit trees at 70 schools, 40 health centres, and 40 churches in the Tororo District of Uganda throughout 2025. Why is this initiative important? According to the proposal, Uganda loses approximately 200,000 hectares of forest annually, and current restoration efforts fall far short of addressing the scale of destruction. How did Public Noun holders react? 42 Public Nouns holders have voted in favour of the proposal, with none abstaining or voting against it.
