2, for me fermi paradox > hearsay on ufo sightings and conspiracy theories. Very interested in being proven wrong, but in the age of smartphones it’s difficult to think that the US govt was somehow able to gain possession of something non-human that we know nothing about and keep it a secret.

Reminds me of docs reporting golden showers that actually never happened... Now, if the docs were created trustlessly by running a smart contract that pulled on-chain data - those would be some fairly reliable docs, and it makes blockchain gorgeous. Docs created BHFHC (By Humans For Human Consumption) - not so much...
