Ohh... at first I tryed to cast @ilannnnnnnnkatin 's quote of this, but since I'm an eternal noob at this, I did NOT succeed. In a nut shell, he said what I think is (or should be) common knowledge. @y0b 's point of view is not to be ignored, AT ALL. Btw, 50 $degen (one of the bots tells me I still can tip it)

It is a great conversation. I went back to the thread and read it. There are also some subjective reasons for collecting art. It may vary from people to people. I like to have at home art made by friends. It is a way of having them around. 😉

Glad you did. It takes even more to make me cast something... ask Len, but you know you don't have to. I wish I could have quoted your reply or recast or whatever as it was originally.. not savvy enough, sorry. Thing is... I've been around here for a few weeks now, and I see that some of the people that interact with me every other day, don't get the value of investing in art... smart people, brilliant people... I think that: there are more people that we think that enjoy and validate art. And there are more people that we think that don’t care about art. Unfortunately. It is not only about collecting, it is also about seeing, engaging, putting oneself to experience it and reflect on it.

Cami... not everyone is gifted enough to create a good artwork. I am not for the life of me, and will never be. I also cannot judge art, and give advice to others. I can, however, judge for myself and artpiece that fancys me. For no reason other than, I LIKE IT. In those cases, if I can afford it, I buy it. #honestysucks hahaha

I’ve just bought a book called “I kind of like it” that it is exactly about this topic. Why people collect the artworks that they collect. I haven’t started it yet. But will start soon. In the context of the book, it is about homes. But I think we can extend its meaning.
