For those that don’t know the backstory, it goes something like this:

During first interaction of channels the ‘soccer’ channel actively lobbied for a name change & went on a silent 2 week protest. A not so sufficiently permissionless name change was made by v when dwr was on holiday. 🙏💜⚽️ Around that time some new to the beautiful game fans went shopping for a club. @cameron landed on Tottenham & dove in head first. Sadly no one told him what the saying “That’s Spursy” meant & he’d use it in the affirmative. Kane scores and “that’s so Spursy” he’d cast. Didn’t have the heart to tell him directly so posted this meme

for those who were not around then, i've tried to write something about the early days of the channel and what it was like going on strike, choosing teams via livestream, and hosting aburra spaces.
