What’s y’all’s clothing system? Like Wear it once, then laundry? Or do you have multiple stages of “not clean anymore but also not dirty so you stack it in assorted places around your living space” too

If the jeans start walking by themselves, they go to laundry, before that, I keep it. For the underwear it is 4 days. After the first day, front to back. Then in becomes out and we’re set for two more days. And I keep my shirts on till there’s holes under the armpits. Then I wash them.

Think if it’s in the home and I have no sweat/longer time outside due to dog then I wear next day and that’s it. But Texas summers you’re going through 2 sets of clothing per day easy.

Shirts are one-time use. I am a sweaty dude. Pants are, on average, three time use. My wife has OCD, no assorted places for clothes exist if I value my life.

For shirts, wear once. I have the second approach to pants though. If I don't re-wear them for a couple of days, they either then get hung back up or dropped into the laundry depending on my whim.

in addition to the stages listed above, there are also - slightly stained with paint but still wearable - stained with paint, but can be used while walking alone - stained with paint so I'll use it to work on paintings - clothes can't be seen under the paint I think I can make a rag out of it to...wipe brushes😂

Pants typically twice between washes though. Undershirt/wear switched daily. Overshirts by smell. Wash when hamper full or out of underclothes.

never washing. other than under garments, at-home wear and heavily soiled ones. stack enough of others to keep rotating them every couple of months. let nature do its job of cleaning them dry over time. water is the enemy of clothes. not risking that.
