Not sure I understand. Why would Purple want to give away votes to people who haven't contributed to the treasury. Just to be nice?

I think @dylsteck.eth’s group bidding and fractional ownership is the solution for this

I don't know how to do the raffle or what those parameters would be but there are multiple ways to set aside tokens. The best one is probably just a Proposal that Airdrops tokens (to a multisig to handle this?).

Do you mean the price is too high? Group Purple (party bid) by @dylsteck.eth can help here

I would instead suggest that people who want to participate but can’t afford it should offer to provide services and get paid via a token airdrop

This is a big reason why myself and @luciano set out to create Group Purple -- not just to experiment with sub-governance, but to allow more people to participate in the DAO Been thinking about when to launch another group bid, @ajay feel free to join our TG and chat with us! https://t.me/+5qvHaVob3CI0ZWNh

Do you have to buy purple to participate? What ways are there to participate in purple other than funding it (by buying it) or voting on proposals? Or I guess in other words, how does purple invite non-purple holders to participate?

What other ways can one contribute to the group other than contributing to the treasury? Paying your way shows commitment, what about a means of contributing your time and effort to prove worthy of a vote? Earn lottery entries.

🧠 〰️ 🧠 Was literally just writing the same thing abt this, but have a different idea for distribution: Some mechanism or guide for letting people pool for a bid more easily, like @dylsteck.eth did recently https://warpcast.com/dylsteck/0xd25f0b
