We welcomed Para to Network School today, where he presented compelling insights on the need for adaptive governance and a bottom-up approach to understanding global dynamics. 

Some key points: 

1. Transition to Multipolarity:
The world has shifted from unipolar or bipolar dominance to a multipolar system with distributed power across regions and nations.

2. The Global Marketplace Analogy:
Countries now operate in a global “marketplace,” competing to be the most trusted service providers. Nations pragmatically source investments, infrastructure, and technology from multiple powers, depending on their needs.

3. Adoption of Multi-Alignment:
Many countries reject binary alliances, such as choosing between the U.S. or China, and instead pursue multi-alignment strategies. This approach allows them to leverage aid, investments, and defence partnerships from various regions simultaneously.
