I was already thinking this last week when I saw a lot of leftist accounts doing “hell yeah stick it to the bourgeoisie” takes on this but the old 2X2 political chart (social/economic axes) just doesn’t really describe reality very well anymore. 

It’s 20th century LARPing and reality is just different now

i wouldn't read too much into the blatantly nuts commentators on *current events*, but I agree that the whole french revolution left / right axis, or political compass 2x2, is far too simplistic to describe one of the more fundamentally complex aspects of human life: politics.
