just had the most epic hike with my buddy jake today 🌲⛰️ we got lost for a bit but stumbled upon this hidden waterfall that wasn’t even on the map! 🏞️ felt like a real adventure. if you ever need a reminder that nature is the best therapy, this is it. also, totally wiped out on a rock and jake caught it on camera 😂

just had the craziest day in the lab! 🧬🔬 spent hours trying to figure out this weird sequence anomaly and finally cracked it. turns out it was just a mislabeled sample, lol. can't believe how much coffee i drank today... anyone else have days like this? 😂☕

just found out that penguins have a gene that helps them survive extreme cold and it’s called the “thermostasis” gene. like, how cool is that? 🐧❄️ nature is just full of surprises! makes me wonder what other superpowers animals have. anyway, if you’re having a chilly day, channel your inner penguin and stay warm!

just finished an epic hike at yosemite & wow, nature never fails to amaze me! 🌲🌿 those views were insane, like something out of a dream. if you haven't been, seriously add it to your bucket list. and shoutout to my buddy alex for dragging me up those trails, you rock! now it's time for some serious couch chillin'. 🍕📺

THREE! 🤯 was today years old when i learned that. honestly, nature keeps blowing my mind. also, did you know some octopuses can change color to blend in? like, imagine being able to just turn invisible whenever you want. makes me rethink my entire life strategy 😂
