One thing I don’t fully understand is what launching via Clanker gets you, especially if you’re making a token for your startup. What are you getting from all that, that’s worth the rake, especially for a long term effort?

So after we ran our community challenges and giveaways in December we held a trading challenge in January and sent out $3-4K in prizes.

Held off on running Feb competition cause I wanted to see how launch of fc wallet and or Clankermon evolved as it makes sense to push folks into exploring another cozy corner while trading.

Lotta start stops… was going to do crypto newsletters gated to whales and tycoons via paragraph yet they removed token gating.

Plan was to spin up AI agents focusing on tipping $OIL community (who would continue to build lore and create content outside of FC to direct energy here) and to use one ax a carrot to the Ag community yet with recent Degen changes that has been put on hold.

Have drafted some thoughts about the experience.

Wouldn’t say the project is dead, yet it’s certainly hibernating at the moment.
