With Sui and Aptos growing in popularity, Movement brings all of those users and devs to Ethereum, whilst giving EVM users the chance to enjoy MOVE apps. The timing seems perfect. Movement has the tech (MoveVM, decentralized shared sequencer designed for parallelized execution), interesting native apps and a genuine community to be a large player in the space. Movement is not your traditional EVM L2 copy pasta. There's still time to give the testnet a try, and of course it will give you a chance to earn some network tokens. I am an early Movement Labs investor, and very fortunate to be one, because they are absolutely smashing it.

Now, this isn't to say the testnet has been perfect. It has been buggy at times, and there have been a lot of failed txns, but it is a testnet after all. A year ago, Movement was a relatively small, obscure project, and now I can't go a day on the timeline without seeing gmove. And I don't think this is just people farming an airdrop. Yes, of course there will be some, but as someone that has observed many new ecosystems, I can tell there is a real growing organic community here (devs and users).I think Movement's mainnet will be one of the biggest launches of Q4. There will be a lot of opportunity for early explorers.

I think the movementlabs testnet campaign is the most engaging one ever designed. Usually testnets are quite dull, and geared towards devs, and not really optimised for building a community. But Movement is different. Beyond just my own opinion, I've seen many users comment that this testnet experience is genuinely fun. It's very gamified, with users being able to choose one of six guilds, with quests specifically curated for each guild. You earn higher level relics as you complete more quests. The testnet activity has been enormous (yes, I'm sure lots of bots alongside real testers). They have 54 apps live on testnet, showing real interest from Move and EVM devs.
