While clay allows for fluidity, stone presents a different challenge—one that requires patience, precision, and strength. Carving stone is a labor-intensive process, where I carefully chip away layers to reveal the form hidden within. The weight of the chisel and the sound of the hammer against the stone create a rhythm that drives me forward. Each strike is deliberate, a step closer to unveiling the final work. The raw beauty of the stone, with its unique textures and colors, informs my choices and inspires me to capture its essence in my sculptures.
