Many DePIN networks we've talked to say they have a certain threshold of block reward abuse they can absorb. 

The ones who don't have this problem are, let's admit it, centralized and permissioned. Spending investor dollars on marketing to convince people otherwise is starting to fade. Sure they have a roadmap to decentralization but it's just a CePIN unless  the roadmap comes to life.

How much is abuse enough? Who decides? Who is undertaking and underwriting the risk? Can you sue the supply side providers? Who is actually suing? The protocol? The foundation?

If validity proofs were enough to scale DePINs, they would have taken over traditional providers already. We are still at a stage where the only ones who benefit are early supply side contributors. 

Join the network. Drain the network. Leave the network.
