Ended our day potting up celery seedlings; this is the before; forgot to take an after shot. Celery is one of the longest days to maturity single cut crops we grow. These were seeded mid February. Potted up today. Will be transplanted and row covered late April. We’ll push growth for an “early” harvest in July. We have another succession to pot up next week, will seed succession 3 (of 4) next week, and our final seeding will be in mid April. All goes we’ll have a steady supply of Celery ‘til frost. Which isn’t that much celery cause it’s rather low on the demand curve.

Earliest cukes without a heated growhouse for April and May, are just a touch less risky than meme coins. We’ll see if one of the fieldhouse is warm enough to plant these next week… the reward of early cukes is worth the risk. They’re a top 5 crop for us demand wise.

Basil will end up in a fieldhouse; after the first of April. For some crops which already have high demand; one of the easiest ways to increase sales is to extend the harvest season. We can aim for light basil harvests toward end of May by using a fieldhouse; front running field harvests by 3-4 weeks. Also gets people back into rhythm of thinking “I get my basil at brix” in advance of the high season.

Please help me get off of my mid curve position on this > Team wanted to slow emissions with tipping so they reduced daily allocation. I haven’t been watching the liquidity pools closely; yet didn’t get a sense that $Degen had been struggling for Onchain liquidity. Especially with continued CEX pools (ty Kraken) Now they are boosting rewards for providing liquidity. Not complaining for the folks that are providing lp to get rewarded; just don’t follow the logic how rewarding emissions toward liquidity providers beyond fees makes sense? Were their some heavy withdrawals from the pools with price action and or reduction in trading volume and fees. Need to catch up, haven’t been too deep in $Degen land recently.
