Are we continuing the presentation of a mirage? My biggest complaint since Kamala was anointed as candidate has been the relative lack of policy specifics. Today it occurred to me, that possible reason is that if they rolled out specific policy too quickly it would counter the notion that her place on the ticket was an unexpected surprise. So the Kamala campaign continues to be short on specifics. I’ve been listening to these two all summer and have come to enjoy their insights into the election. https://open.spotify.com/episode/6UV2AG4TU3xi2EvoZBhQwZ?si=7K0iDO21TXqNVk7gPGAO0A Just checked and the Kamala website is still void of any specific policy viewpoints, beyond what is inferred from her bio https://kamalaharris.com/

Trump “platform” prominently displayed on his website, easy to find. Might not agree with his policies, yet I do enjoy being able to read about his positions. Does the presentation of lack of presentation on their respective websites make any difference to you? https://www.donaldjtrump.com/platform

I brought this up on another post where I probably didn't eloquently express it, but I strongly believe that campaign platforms are just "vibe mechanisms" no matter how you spin it. Soon as a president gets elected the campaign platform disappears, never to be heard from again. Because presidents campaign over issues they can't actually resolve with policies that won't ever get implemented. "The other side blocked it"- it's like mutually assured deception. A guaranteed scapegoat, so you can make all the promises you want to win. It's all a farce, and this recent debacle is just the curtain getting pulled back a little further. Kamala's platform is just more honest that it's all about the vibes. This isn't good or bad, because the system is broken anyway and whether a "platform" or a "vibe" is the right path is a matter of semantics. (I'm not saying this is how it should be, just how it do be)
