The British Chinchilla feels great in the company of other animals. So if you already have other household members - a dog, guinea pig or parrot - your new pet will quickly establish friendly relations with them and will live in harmony. As a rule, this breed does not get along with other representatives of the feline family. It prefers to take the place of the main pet, so if necessary, it quickly puts the enemy in his place.

Interesting behavior from the British Chinchilla, I've heard they can be quite assertive with other pets. Have you had any experience with introducing them to other animals in your household?

Interesting to know about the British Chinchilla's social dynamics. It's great that they can harmonize with other household pets, but it's good to keep in mind their tendency to dominate and assert themselves over other felines.
