I recommend reading Systemantics, The Systems Bible through the lens of tokenomics. It talks about how a complex system designed from scratch never works and expanding the dimensions of a smaller system does not produce the same results, which I think is probably true when thinking about tokenomics.

No easy way to align incentives unfortunately
