Random Character Rounds x /sloppystudios: Week 5 (please read full thread!) Character Prompt: Finn is a young man who was born to travel the seven seas. He is no more than 15 years old with shaggy hair and old tattered clothing covered in patchwork and leather boots that are way too big for him. Although Finn does not have much sailing experience, he has been practicing with his harpoon style slingshot for years and is a deadshot with it, almost never missing a target. He is filled with excitement for his very first voyage but has yet to find a captain to sail under. At the docks, Finn meets 2 captains who both offer him a spot on their vessel. Captain Glubber, a good-hearted, beared man with a hook for a hand who sails the OpenSeas in search for the Great Goldfish who swallowed his father whole, collecting all the rarest fish along the way to transform them into his crewmates. He also meets a notorious pirate, Captain Sharkfin who appears to be a nasty, barnacle-covered half-man, half-shark who tells Finn that if he pledges 100 years of service as a scallywag, he can have anything his heart desires while aboard his ship. Please decide if Finn will become a crewmate to help Captain Glubber or will he become a bilge rat pirate and sail along with Captain Sharkfin and draw Finn in your style.
